Environmental, Social & Sustainability Policy

Our commitment to responsible energy transition, operational integrity, and global compliance.

1.0 Introduction & Statement of Intent

Conerty Oil Ltd. ("the Company") recognizes that the sustainable supply of energy is vital to global economic stability. We are committed to conducting our oil and gas trading, logistics, and refinery facilitation activities in a manner that protects the environment, supports our employees, and provides value to our stakeholders.

2.0 Regulatory & Trade Compliance

The Company operates in strict accordance with the laws and regulations of the jurisdictions in which it trades. For all United States-based transactions, Conerty Oil Ltd. pledges compliance with:

  • The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): Adherence to the Clean Air Act and Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program.
  • Department of Energy (DOE): Reporting requirements for the import/export of crude oil and refined products.
  • Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC): Strict adherence to U.S. sanctions and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.

3.0 Environmental Stewardship

While our core business involves fossil fuels, we actively work to minimize the carbon intensity of our supply chain.

3.1 Emission Reduction

We prioritize maritime partners who utilize low-sulfur fuels (IMO 2020 compliant) and modern, fuel-efficient vessel designs to reduce Scope 3 emissions.

3.2 Spill Prevention & Response

All refinery affiliates and logistics providers must maintain certified Oil Spill Response Plans (OSRP) and meet MARPOL international standards for pollution prevention.

4.0 Social Responsibility & Human Rights

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding human rights abuses in our supply chain. We align our operations with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

  • Fair Labor: Ensuring no forced labor or child labor is used at any point in the refining or transport process.
  • Safety: A "Goal Zero" approach to workplace accidents across all affiliated loading ports.

5.0 Corporate Governance & Transparency

Governance is the bedrock of our sustainability. We ensure that our financial and operational reporting is transparent and audited.

Our "Know Your Counterparty" (KYC) and "Know Your Product" (KYP) protocols ensure that every barrel traded is legally sourced, non-sanctioned, and meets the chemical specifications (ASTM/EN590) promised to the end-buyer.

6.0 Periodic Review & Accountability

This policy is a living document. It is reviewed annually by the Board of Directors to ensure it remains compliant with evolving U.S. and International energy regulations.
